Dr. Fong-Yi WEI, DACM., Dipl.OM., L.Ac.
Welcome to Essence Way Acupuncture.
Fong-Yi WEI is a licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) by the State of New York. And nationally board certified in Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) by National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
She was trained for three years at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM) in New York studying on Acupuncture, Western Bioscience and Pendant Herbs, etc.
She received a second prize of an academic award of “MAGNA GUM LAUDE" for academic achievement of the Acupuncture program from NYCTCM.
Education
She has two Mater degrees:
1. Master of Science (MS.) in Health Science/Acupuncture from New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, NY.
2. Master of Art (MA.) in Communication & Multimedia from Saginaw Valley State University, MI.

She speaks English, Chinese and Taiwanese.
Board Exam
She hold a national certification for Clean Needle Technique from the Council of Colleges of Aupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).
She passed the Acupuncture board exam (Dipl.Ac.) by National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Clinical Experience
She works with Acupuncturist, Chiropractor and Physical Therapist. Her Clinical experiences include NYCTCM clinical pratice and own private practice. She also serves as a Volunteer Acupuncture Consultation in USA and Taiwan.
